About

I’m a multimedia, bilingual journalist seeking to capture the identities, expressions and auras of people, places and brands.

Who I Am

I’ve always been drawn to movement.
Across countries, across careers, across ways of seeing the world.

That instinct didn’t start with me.

My family’s story is rooted in migration, from Italian and Spanish ancestors who crossed the Atlantic in search of something new, indigenous ones who were forced to learn new ways and parents who rebuilt our lives in the United States. I was born in Venezuela and raised between cultures, learning early on how to navigate different spaces, languages and expectations.

Movement was never an idea. It was the foundation.

Journalism gave me structure. Television taught me presence. Communications showed me how stories move, not just people, but institutions.

Over time, that perspective became an advantage. The ability to step back, read a room and understand what matters, whether in a newsroom, a campaign or a conversation.

That perspective became a career.

I’ve worked across newsrooms, broadcasts and cultural institutions, earning three Emmy awards and multiple industry honors along the way such as CBAs and NBCUniversal diamond awards. As a journalist, editor and managing editor of magazines, I’ve led stories from field to publication, shaping editorial direction and long form storytelling across platforms. My work includes developing magazine content and annual reports read by audiences across the country.

Today, I work at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, developing narratives for brands, institutions and campaigns that require clarity, cultural awareness and precision. My writing is grounded in AP style and guided by the standards of the Real Academia Española, allowing me to move seamlessly between English and Spanish without losing voice, tone or intent.

This space brings together different parts of my work, from Sin Anclas, both the magazine and podcast, to past projects, editorial work and the ideas that continue to shape them.

Through it, I write about movement, identity, culture and the quiet decisions that shape a life.

Some stories are mine.
Some are observations.
All are an attempt to understand what it means to move forward, intentionally.
